Intervention Strategy in the Capacity Building modality

Recognizing that there are multiple ways of developing work with children and adolescents with disabilities and their families, this program establishes various intervention strategies. They seek to have a significant impact on the development and strengthening of the adaptive skills of the beneficiaries.

One of them is art, through which beneficiaries strengthen their relationship with the world. They discover it, discover it and appropriate various knowledge. It is the generator of the development of the natural creative expression that every being brings with it. It stimulates both qualities and social, moral values and self-esteem. And it also contributes to the development of skills such as psychomotricity, expression and symbology.

At the same time, new tools are made available that allow the integral development of our beneficiaries. They are articulated to the mobilizing axes proposed from the ICBF Operational Manual: Art and Culture, Sport and Recreation, Science and technology and Literature and play.

All these efforts together with working with families allow us to guide the construction of their life project and promote their social inclusion.
